Leone has a painfully long reload and unimpressive damage, even accounting for the extra guns it has over most T5 destroyers. A "good" game in Hermes tends to be about as much XP as a bad game in game in Langley or Hosho or an outright embarrassing game in Rein. Even when you do get a torpedo hit or a penetrating bomb hit, the damage is lower than you'd get from the other carriers at the tier. Hermes launches one plane per attack run, for starters, and even on the rare occasion that you score a hit it'll probably shatter. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of working around the long reload, but once you can do that you can pummel other cruisers with your Scharnhorst guns.
